By booking or purchasing any class, workshop, service, or product with The White
Studio, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Section 1: Class Bookings
These Terms & Conditions govern the booking and participation in fitness classes, personal training sessions, workshops, and related services (“Classes”) offered through our website www.thewhitestudio.life (“Website”) operated by The White Studio Sandy / Bedford (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
[1] Classes & Workshops
- Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
- A place is only confirmed once full payment and all required forms (screening, consent, medical information) have been submitted.
- For workshops hosted by third parties, bookings, paperwork, and waiting lists are managed by the host studio. The White Studio cannot guarantee places or manage third-party waiting lists.
- If a class is full, you may join the waiting list. If a space becomes available, places are offered in order of reservation.
What you can expect from us:
- Safe, fun, and professional classes.
- Qualified, insured, and first-aid trained instructors.
- Sessions that start and finish on time (except in unavoidable circumstances).
- Guidance to challenge your limits — safely and responsibly.
What we expect from you:
- Arrive on time, ready to start. If early, please wait outside until the previous class finishes.
- Wear appropriate clothing (comfortable, non-restrictive; no jewellery; socks off unless using soft dance/yoga shoes).
- Bring water to stay hydrated.
- Respect instructors and fellow students.
- Notify us of any injuries or medical conditions before class.
[2] Pricing & Payment
- Prices may change at any time, but confirmed bookings will not be affected.
- All payments must be made in advance.
- Payment methods: cash, Stripe, or bank transfer. Confirmation of booking is provided by email.
- Block bookings: missed sessions may be swapped within the same block (subject to availability) but cannot be carried forward. We need a minimum of 48h notice to be able to accommodate the change.
[3] Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellations by students within 48 hours of a class (24 hours for online classes) are non-refundable.
- Refunds requested by students (outside the above period) are subject to a 5% payment platform transaction fee.
- Classes may be cancelled if fewer than 5 participants are booked. In this case, you will be offered an alternative or a full refund.
- No refunds for unused block sessions (e.g. due to illness, school trips, or change of mind).
- If The White Studio cancels due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. weather, venue issues), we will try to reschedule but refunds cannot be guaranteed.
- Workshops:
o 50% non-refundable deposit due within 2 weeks of booking to secure.
o Balance payable by the day before the workshop.
o Refunds for workshops are negotiated directly with the studio owner.
[4] Personal Property
- The White Studio is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
- Please check you have all belongings at the end of each session. Lost property will be held for a month, then donated or disposed of.
[5] Health & Safety
- Risk assessments are completed for all venues used by The White Studio. For third-party workshops, the host studio is responsible.
- No jewellery, moisturiser, or oils (24h before pole classes).
- Students under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be refused entry without refund.
- Participation is at your own risk. Please disclose all relevant medical information on booking forms.
- First aid will be provided where necessary; emergency services will be contacted if required.
[6] Behaviour
- Respectful behaviour is expected at all times. Bullying, aggression, or disruption will result in removal without refund.
- The same applies to parents/carers. Abusive behaviour towards staff may result in permanent exclusion.
- The White Studio and its venues are not liable for injury or loss resulting from student misconduct or failure to disclose medical conditions.
[7] Data Protection & Media
- Student information is stored securely and treated as confidential.
- Photos/videos may be taken for promotional use. If you do not wish to appear, please notify us in advance but you should always be asked for permission.
- Student details will never be shared with third parties.
- By providing your email, you consent to receive our newsletter (unsubscribe at any time).
- By providing your WA phone number, you agree to being asked if you wish to be part of our distribution list, updating members with news regarding classes.
[8] Safeguarding
- Students under 18 require parental consent, medical details, and emergency contacts on file.
- Parents/guardians must arrange prompt collection of their child and notify us if someone else is collecting.
- Late collections may incur charges.
- Physical contact may be required for safe teaching of techniques. All instructors working with children are fully DBS-checked.
- Concerns about child welfare will always be prioritised and may be referred to appropriate agencies under safeguarding law.
[9] Equal Opportunities
The White Studio is committed to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion within
the scope of our teaching.
- Our classes are designed specifically for ladies and girls/young girls, creating a safe and supportive environment tailored to their needs.
- We do not exclude men from training — bespoke classes for men can be arranged separately, with appropriately trained instructors.
- We welcome students of all ages, backgrounds, abilities, and identities. Discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.
- Our aim is to ensure every student feels respected, valued, and supported on their personal journey.
[10] Complaints
We hope issues never arise, but if you have concerns, please speak directly to a member of staff or our Director, Angie Voluti. Complaints will be treated seriously and confidentially.
Section 2: Online Shop Purchases
These Terms & Conditions govern the booking and participation in fitness classes, personal training sessions, workshops, and related services (“Classes”) offered through our website www.thewhitestudio.life (“Website”) operated by The White Studio Sandy / Bedford (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
[1] Ordering
By placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Once an order is submitted, you’ll receive an email confirmation. A binding contract forms only when we dispatch your order.
[2] Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable. We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. Prices and availability may change without notice.
[3] Delivery
We aim to dispatch all orders within 5 working days. Delivery times may vary depending on destination and courier service. Since we only offer postage to areas within the United Kingdom, shipping is not available.
[4] Returns & Cancellations
You have the right to cancel your online purchase within 14 days of receiving your goods, in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. See our Refund & Returns Policy linked below for more details.
[5] Product Descriptions
We make every effort to display accurate product images and descriptions. Small variations in colour, material or finish may occur.
[6] Faulty or Damaged Goods
If your order arrives faulty or damaged, contact life@thewhitestudio.life within 7 days. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund at no extra cost.
[7] Liability
We are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss resulting from the use of our products. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
[8] Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled exclusively by the courts of England and Wales.
In summary: By booking with The White Studio or making payments via our store, you agree and accept these Terms & Conditions. By booking a class you should therefore agree to treat others with respect and follow all safety guidance.
